You might be wondering how are photographers able to shoot a perfect Headshot. It’s simple really; we use a different flash lighting technique.

Guess what, if you were born in this day and age, everything could now be found online. You can browse all these different flash lighting techniques.

For me, I think I admire Tony Corbell’s style of lighting. He’s called a master of light but me; I call him as one of the innovators of this industry.

Anyway with the images below, what I did is a clam shell lighting technique. I used just two strobe lights. It can work with two flashes as well.

So my key light is on the left-hand side and my fill light is on the right-hand side.

Make sure your fill light is lower than your Key light.
